2A70 | Al-Cu-Mg-Ni | Heat treatment strengthened alloy, Al-Cu-Mg-Si heat treated aluminum alloy, heat resistant alloy used in artificial aging, and 2A70, 2A80 and 2A90 alloy used in aviation industry. 2A70 alloy has the highest heat resistance, the most widely applied and the applied temperature is 200~250 C. the alloy has good technological characteristics, and can be processed into plates, strips, rods, profiles and free forgings, die forgings and so on. In aircraft manufacturing, it is mostly used for forging engine piston, impeller, wheel, compressor blade, and other parts used at high temperature. |
