With the increase of engine power and speed, the load of bearing increases. At the same time, with the increase of production, the demand for bearing materials is also increasing. In this case, not only the material is required to have better friction and wear properties, but also the cost is lower. As a result, bimetal wear resistant materials came into being. The inner layer of this material is abrasion-reducing material, and the outer layer is cheap ordinary steel, such as lead bronze-steel and aluminum alloy-steel. The service life of bearings and other parts mainly depends on the fatigue strength of wear-reducing materials working under large dynamic loads.
