 Fiberglass Aluminum Magnet Wire is made of natural silk or glass compared with that made of cotton yarn. It is usually made of artificial glass wires wrapped on wires. After impregnated in silicone resin, the burdened temperature can reach 453K. It has the characteristics of good insulation and high mechanical strength , mostly used in precision electrical equipment.

Glass-fiber covered aluminum magnet wire used to have weak coating strength (abrasion resistance, shock resistance, and flexibility). However, that disadvantage has been chalcoficantly improved recently by refining material selection and manufacturing methods. The demand for glass-fiber covered aluminum magnet wire is increasing as the wires have excellent uniformity and electrical properties under high temperatures and humidity.
