It has excellent welding performance, casting performance, good wear resistance, high penetration, high specific strength, and low expansion coefficient etc advantages. Because of its low melting point, narrow solidification range, and good fluidity, it is conducive to the shrinkage and cracks of the weld during solidification, and it is often used as an aluminum alloy brazing material. But its thermal processing performance is relatively poor.
