The strength and corrosion resistance of the 7475 alloy are equivalent to those of the 7075 alloy at the same state, while the fracture toughness is higher than that of the existing aluminum alloy with equal strength. Its strength and fracture toughness match best.

The 7475 aluminum alloy sheet is supplied with O, T6 and T76, and the thick plate is supplied with T651, T7651 and T7351. Compared with the state of T76 and T6, the corrosion resistance, especially the anti peeling corrosion resistance, was improved, but the strength was reduced. Compared with the state of T7651 and T651, the resistance to peeling corrosion and stress corrosion resistance is improved, and the fracture toughness is improved, but the strength is reduced.
The technical standard of 7475 alloy not only stipulates the tensile properties at room temperature, but also stipulates the fracture toughness index. The 7475 T651 T7651 T7351 aluminum alloy sheet is mainly used for manufacturing high strength, medium fatigue strength and high fracture toughness structure, such as wing skin, fuselage skin and spacer. Using 7475 alloy can improve the safety, reliability and service life of the aircraft. As 7475 is a high strength aluminum alloy at room temperature, the strength properties of the alloy will be reduced with the increase of the temperature, and the long-term use temperature should not exceed 125 ºC.

7475 T651 T7651 T7351 aluminum alloy sheet has good technological plasticity and superplasticity, and the thin plate parts with complex shape can be superplastic forming with ultra-fine crystal structure.
