Cca Rod Bus Bars

Although both copper and aluminum have good conductivity and thermal conductivity, they are the basic materials for power transmission and heat transfer engineering, but copper resources are increasingly scarce, so replacing copper with aluminum has become an inevitable trend.

Compared with copper, aluminum has poor weldability and high surface contact resistance, so it is difficult for many parts to replace copper with aluminum directly.

Aluminum-copper composite prepared by directly compounding a layer of copper on the surface of aluminum can improve the contact resistance of aluminum surface, improve the welding performance of aluminum and the corrosion resistance of copper-aluminum contact.

1. Good electrical conductivity: Copper-aluminum volume ratio of 15% copper-clad aluminum plating performance, compared with copper bars, its AC current carrying capacity is 85% of pure copper.

2. Light weight: the density of Cca rod bus bars is only 37% - 40% of pure copper bars, the length (volume) of the same weight is 2.5-2.7 times of pure copper bars.

3. Good mechanical properties: good tensile strength, flexibility and elongation.

4. Firm bonding between copper and aluminum: two different metal materials achieve permanent atomic intergranular bonding at various ambient temperatures, and the copper layer (tin, zinc layer) is evenly distributed without any physical defects.

5. Good ductility and reliability: After a special heat treatment process, it has certain plasticity, which is conducive to punching, shearing, bending products without cracking, not separating. In order to improve corrosion resistance, tin plating and zinc plating can be applied on the surface of copper layer.
