Bimetal Long Clad Pipe Tube Bimetallic
A two-layer or multi-layer metal pipe composed of two or more long metal pipes is called a long clad pipe tube. This clad pipe is usually corroded in the inner layer and pressurized in the outer layer, and is used as an corrosive medium for transporting gaseous, liquid or solid gases. Some of the inner (outer) layer conducts electricity while the outer (inner) layer is corrosion-resistant for power or electrochemical applications. In short, long composite pipes can be designed according to the actual needs of production and science and technology.
For example, using the temperature difference of seawater to generate electricity, in order to prevent seawater corrosion, the required titanium tube is expensive, if the use of titanium and other materials to replace the composite tube, the cost will be much lower.
For example, Aluminium-lined zirconium alloy tubes are used as double-layer pressure tubes in nuclear reactors, and aluminium acts as an anti-hydrogen layer to prevent the hydrogenation of zirconium alloy tubes during reactor operation.
In addition, there are Titanium-Stainless steel clad pipes for mercury in nuclear power plants and zirconium clad pipes for hydrogen and hydrogen sulfide in chemical plants. 2. Composite copper pipes are lined with 1.5-6 mm thick copper pipes on the inner wall of 660 mm diameter and 6 m long tail steel pipes.
