Chalco Aluminum is professional on aluminum foil for transformer winding, normally such foil in coils to be used in winding of transformers. The materials is normally high purity of aluminum above 99.65%, and in soft temper which is good for winding; Also edge free of burrs, so as to make it safe when lamination with insulation film; Also the surface is free of oil, scratches, deformations, so as could be laminated with insulation film properly.

1. External appearance

 

1. The surfaces of aluminum foil is clean and smooth, free of noious defects for use such as wrinkles, distortion and flaws. The aluminum edge in particular shall be free of flaws.
2. The aluminum foil surface is free of oil, grease, soapy water and metal powder.
3. The edges of aluminum foil shall be in accordance with following consitions.

All size are deburred, precision slit :
    For the thickness < 0.8mm=> Burr< 0.01mm
    For the thickness >0.8mm => Burr < 0.02mm

Round edge is available but cost shall be very high, due to the round edge processing is quite slow, and one roll by one roll processing.
 

1. Packing: Eye to wall and Eye to sky two types.

Eye to sky: Rolls must be placed horizontally on a pallet large and solid enough to support the weight and protect the rolls.  Two cardboards shall be placed between the rolls as dividers so that the aluminum edge be protected against friction.  The entire charge must be solidly fixed to the pallet and covered with a plastic film.

Eye to wall: Rolls must be placed vertically on a pallet large and solid enough to support the weight and adequately protect the rolls.  Two cardboards shall be placed between each roll.  The entire charge should be covered with a plastic film.
