Bimetal Bimetallic Short Clad Tube Pipe
Short clad tube pipes usually refer to bimetallic or polymetallic pipes less than 300mm in length.
In the development of modern weapon technology, with the emergence of air-launched missiles, large and medium caliber artillery has lost its role in the air defense weapon system. Air to air missiles are becoming the main weapon in defense. Nevertheless, countries continue to develop and develop 20-40mm caliber rapid fire cannon. They work with missiles for low altitude defense missions with a height of 2000m and less than 3000m. There is no dead angle in shooting and no interference from the other side. It can deal with both low altitude targets and ground targets. Therefore, this kind of weapon still has its unique advantages.
At present, the development of small aperture rapid fire weapons mainly emphasizes increasing the firing rate. Then, with the increase of firing speed and firing intensity, the temperature in the barrel rises faster, and the life of the barrel decreases greatly with the increase of the above two factors. The main reason for the life of small caliber rapid fire artillery can be attributed to bore wear and ablation. In order to reduce wear and corrosion and prolong the life of artillery, the explosive welding short clad pipe invented by Henan Chalco has solved this problem well.
Short clad tube pipes developed by Henan Chalco:
1. base pipe: 30 CrNi12Mov steel pipe + cladding pipe: titanium alloy tube
2. base pipe: 27 MnMoV steel pipe + cladding pipe: titanium alloy tube
3. base pipe: 27 MnMoV steel pipe + cladding pipe: tantalum alloy pipe
4. base pipe: 30 CrNi12MoV steel pipe + cladding pipe: tantalum alloy pipe
5. base pipe: 27 MnMoV steel pipe + cladding pipe: GH140 tube
In addition, short clad tubes pipes can be used to make transition pipe joints of dissimilar alloys. For example, low carbon steel, industrial pure copper and 70-30 bronze were used to explosively weld the following composite pipes: steel-copper short composite pipes, copper-steel short composite pipes, copper-bronze short composite pipes and bronze-steel short composite pipes. From the point of view of mechanical strength, the quality of explosive welded joints is usually very high.
Aluminum-stainless steel pipe fittings used as refrigeration couplings to connect pipes and liquefied gas storage units.
Short clad pipe transition joints made of two or more metals are mainly used in heat conduction (including chemical plants and atomic power plants), ultra-high vacuum and cryogenic devices, followed by high-frequency electronic equipment.
Short clad pipe transition joints are also used to transport fluids of varying temperatures, which are often corrosive. Typical examples are the boiler's hot water-superheated steam system, the coal-fired flowerbody device and the commonly used chemical device. Aluminum-stainless steel combinations are used in cryogenic devices, such as distillation towers, shaft and fluid valve extensions, and similar devices. On the other hand, the vacuum system must withstand the negative pressure of 133.32 * 10-2Pa.
The wrench joint and pipe joint can be machined by explosively welded multilayer plate, and the pipe joint of various shapes and uses can be machined by clad pipe. For example, a five-layer aluminum-aluminum-titanium-nickel-stainless steel sheet can be machined to support a pipe joint with an outer diameter of 0.7m. The nuclear leakage test with mass spectrometer shows that no leakage occurs in the joints with 25-450mm outer diameter under the condition of sensitivity of 10-10 cm 3/s. The internal pressure test of these joints shows that the working pressure is about 4MPa.
