The 6 series aluminum alloy is an aluminum alloy with magnesium and silicon as main alloy elements and Mg2Si phase as strengthening phase. It belongs to heat treatment and can strengthen aluminum alloy. The alloy has the advantages of medium strength, high corrosion resistance, no stress corrosion cracking tendency, good welding performance, constant corrosion resistance in welding area, good formability and good technological properties. When copper is contained in the alloy, the strength of the alloy can be close to 2 series of aluminum alloys. The process performance is better than that of the 2 series aluminum alloy, but the corrosion resistance of the alloy becomes worse, and the alloy has good forging properties.
