Printing Aluminum Foil

The printing of aluminum foil as the substrate is called aluminum foil printing. Printing can make a new binding design for aluminum foil, which will arouse consumers' desire to buy and improve the sales value of the products. Printed aluminum foil is widely used in food, medicine, cosmetics packaging and other decorative materials.
Aluminum foil, which is different from the general printing paper, with the non absorbable property,iIt has poor affinity to ink in printing and can not achieve normal ink transfer, therefore, surface treatment must be carried out. The surface treatment before aluminum foil printing is mainly pre coating. In addition to improving the transfer capability of the ink, the pre coating also has the ability to increase the corrosion resistance. According to the requirements, the pre coating before the aluminum foil printing can be similar to the aluminum foil coloring process, and the aluminum foil coating process can also be used.

The main components of aluminum foil printing ink are pigments, resins and volatile organic solvents.
