Seamless aluminum tubular busbar refers to a seamless aluminum tube that is made of pure aluminum or aluminum alloy and processed into a hollow along its length. The size of the seamless tube is more uniform, and the performance is better than the seam tube, so the seamless aluminum alloy bus compared with ordinary aluminum alloy busbar tubes, the tube has better mechanical and electrical properties.

The commonly used alloys for seamless aluminum tubular busbars are 6063, 6061 and 6101. 6063 alloy is widely used in outdoor high-voltage substation bus bars with its excellent mechanical and electrical properties. Where high strength and low conductivity are required, 6061 aluminum alloy busbar tubes are used. In the case of requiring high electrical conductivity and minimal loss of mechanical properties, 6101 alloy is used.
