Introduction :
Kapton is the most heat resistant coating in the organic coating at present.Its long-term use temperature can be up to 220 ºC. The painting was developed by the United States in 1958. Kapton insulated aluminium wire has high heat resistance, good solvent resistance and refrigerant resistance. However, its widespread use is affected by its high cost, poor storage stability and toxicity. At present, the lacquer wire is used for some special occasions, such as coal mine motor, space instruments and so on.


Kapton insulated aluminium wires are suitable for both HV and UHV applications at temperatures ranging from -269 to 200°C with maximum bakeout temperature of 260°C.

Kapton insulated aluminum wire is designed for use in high & ultra-high vacuum applications. Kapton has high mechanical strength, excellent electrical insulation properties, and low outgassing rates making it ideal for use as an in-vacuum insulator. These wires can be utilized in temperature ranges from 4K to 260°C.
