The 5 series aluminum alloy is an aluminum alloy with magnesium as the main alloy element. It belongs to the heat treatment strengthened aluminum alloy. The alloy has a small alloy density and is higher in strength than that of 1 and 3 series aluminum alloys. It belongs to medium and high strength aluminum alloy. It has good anti-fatigue and weldability and good corrosion resistance to the ocean atmosphere. In order to avoid the stress corrosion of high magnesium alloys, the final cold processing products should be stabilized, or the final cold processing is controlled, and the use temperature is limited (not more than 65 degrees C). The alloy is mainly made of welded structures and applied in the field of ship.
