5A02/5A03/5A05 Aircraft Aerospace Aluminum Extrusions Section for Aviation    

5A03 aluminium alloy sheet profile forgings is an alloy with moderate Mg content in 5 * * * system, with low strength and high plasticity. Cold deformation can improve its strength, but the plasticity will decrease. In aircraft manufacturing, we need to manufacture welded medium load parts, such as pipes, liquid containers and skeletons, which need high technological plasticity and high corrosion resistance.

The melting temperature of 5A03 is 700~750 ºC, and the casting temperature is 690~730ºC. 5A03 alloy has quite high corrosion resistance. The die forging temperature of 5A03 is 420~475ºC, and the deformation rate in this temperature range is more than 80%. 5A03 alloy wire does not form weld when it is made of solder, and the strength of the weld can be 90%~95% of the matrix material, and it has high plasticity at the same time. The machinability and grinding performance of the O state material are not good, and the H state material is better.
