The main alloy elements in 6061 alloy are magnesium and Silicon, which have medium strength, good corrosion resistance, weldability and oxidation effect.It is used in various industrial structures which requires a certain strength, weldability and high corrosion resistance , such as the manufacture of trucks, building, ships, trams, furniture, mechanical parts, precision processing, industrial material etc.

Better Identification System
Chalco has also recently updated its marking system. The new method paces product identification on the top of each plate. This new system lets you more easily and accurately identify the select the proper alloy, temper, size and specification. It also helps avoid errors by improving the traceability of sawed blanks.
